The health of employees is an essential value for Alusteel Coating, which is why the focus on this aspect is total and includes not only well-being in the workplace, but also the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
This also includes fighting what, according to the World Health Organization is “the greatest threat to health in the European Region”: smoking.
Smoking is a major health risk factor for smokers but also for those around them, passively. Our goal is to promote a culture of health and to raise awareness among our employees about a sense of responsibility and respect for their colleagues.
This is why we like to think of the ban on smoking in all the premises of the plant not as an imposition, but as a warm invitation to make a responsible choice in order to lead a healthier life, which benefits everyone’s well-being. It is an action that we carry out above all to give a benefit to our collaborators, an initiative that we consider as part of the corporate welfare process, through which we wish to highlight the value of the whole team.
