The latest issue of Skille 1000Aziende, the magazine of Bergamo’s real economy with balance sheet data of the top 1000 companies in the area, full of analysis and scenarios of the current macroeconomic situation, is out.
Among the companies that have put themselves on the map during 2022 – overcoming new emergencies, accelerating investment and innovation for energy transition and social sustainability, but also focusing on resilience and new growth strategies – are Alusteel Coating, Metalcoat and Aleu.
A four-page interview with Chairman and CEO Matteo Trombetta Cappellani, who explained the growth of his companies in the last year, which had a turnover of more than 55 million euros (about 30 percent more than in 2021), with a development plan that calls for six million euros in new investments over the next four years to confirm the positive trend.
And more: the partnership signed by the group with AluFrance Services for the supply of aluminum coils for the French market; membership in ECCA (European Coil Coating Association, the prestigious international association that brings together companies operating in the prepainting metal sector) with the official presentation at the Brussels congress in front of the more than two hundred members present; the procurement of raw materials thanks to the excellent relationships established with suppliers; the renewal of the offices; the installation, on the entire roof of the Alusteel Coating plant in Somaglia (about 5,000 square meters), of a new photovoltaic system that will produce about 570,000 kWh per year, cutting annual energy consumption by about 25 percent.
The group, which has recently concluded a rebranding operation of all its companies, is also preparing the installation of a Zero Waste sewage treatment plant, which will lead to a 90 percent reduction in annual water consumption, and the expansion of the buildings for the start-up (by 2024) of a second painting line.
