After the installation of a photovoltaic plant in 2023, which covers an area of about 5,000 m2 and is designed to produce 570,000 kWh/year of energy, green investments continue for Alusteel Coating.
With the start of the new year, in fact, the second phase of revamping the water purification system at the Somaglia (Lodi) plant was completed.
Last August, the company had totally renovated the structure of the tanks and now, with a further intervention, has implemented a new treatment method, which allows an effective recovery of 25% of the water used.
This is another important investment in the direction of increasing attention to the community and the environment, which will soon be documented by the drawing up of the company’s first sustainability report, testifying to a year of continuous growth and full of new goals for the entire group formed by Alusteel Coating, Metalcoat, Alpine Anodizing and Aleu.
