Aluminum produced and marketed by the group led by Matteo Trombetta Cappellani is the material chosen for the redevelopment of the underpass of the new Roma Ostiense FS station area, including the Eataly chain’s spectacular restaurant.
The work was carried out by the company FIDA, which was responsible for the supply and installation of aluminum wall coverings and ceilings produced by Metalscreen, a Modena-based company and leader in the sector.
Thanks to its characteristics, prepainted aluminum produced by Alusteel Coating and distributed by Metalcoat was immediately identified as the suitable material for the required intervention: non-combustible Euroclass A1, washable, rot-proof, anti-yellowing, 100 percent resistant to moisture and corrosion, 100 percent recyclable, and made up of 85 percent recycled material, it guarantees a unique technical performance and almost eternal durability.
The linear panels made by Metalscreen with ultra-modern automatic and robotic lines presents a distinctive and striking design, which in combination with the light profiles, give a unique final performance with a strong aesthetic impact and sober glamour.
The Metalscreen system, moreover, is totally inspectable and quick and easy to install, snapping mounted without screws, holes or rivets, but only by simple manual snapping. Each slat is individually removable for maintenance work on the technological systems in the upper cavity.
Once again the collaboration between Metalcoat and Metalscreen confirms its success, bringing to fruition an excellent upgrade of prime visibility.
